In 1989 Rajasthan, police officer Amay Patnaik raids a criminal’s palace but is outsmarted. While tracking the stolen wealth across the desert, he’s framed for bribery and transferred to the town of Bhoj. There, the local enforcer is the beloved ‘Dada Bhai,’ a man who seems to be a pillar of the community. Patnaik’s gut tells him Dada Bhai is corrupt, and he secretly plans a raid. Storyline
The year is 1989. A high-stakes raid led by SP Amay Patnaik on Kunwar Kuldeep’s palace in Rajasthan goes wrong when his team is ambushed, and the criminals escape with their fortune. Patnaik’s relentless pursuit across the desert is cut short when he is suddenly transferred for allegedly asking for a bribe.
Forced to move to the town of Bhoj, Patnaik finds a new kind of law: Dada Bhai, a man with immense regional respect who is known for treating everyone in the community as family. Patnaik, however, senses something is amiss and bides his time, waiting for a solid lead. He then surprises his team by announcing they will raid Dada Bhai’s properties the next morning. The raid fails to produce any evidence, and Patnaik is suspended from his job for causing a disturbance to a respected citizen. With his career on the line, Patnaik’s personal investigation deepens, revealing the shocking truths hidden behind Dada Bhai’s public image.
